The Seoul Mobility Show is the only one in Korea to be accredited by the International Association of Automobile Manufacturers (OICA). Since the first competition was held at the Korea Exhibition Center (KOEX) in May 1995, it has been held every odd number of years. From the 5th Games in 2005, the venue was changed to KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. As of 2017, it has grown into the largest automobile exhibition in Korea, with approximately 610,000 visitors. Although previously held as the 'Seoul Motor Show', the title of the competition in October 2021 was changed to 'Seoul Mobility Show' according to the purpose of expanding the direction of the competition from internal combustion engine-centered exhibitions to electrification of vehicles, autonomous driving, and urban air mobility.
