Multi-media artist Shane Hendren is a highly regarded jeweler, and he also explores his creativity through other channels, including film. Life--including fatherhood--postponed his pursuit of an advanced degree until the loss of his wife and his son inspired him to return to school and finish what he'd started. Borne from the chaos of 2020 and culminating in an exhibition for IAIA's first cohort from the MFA in Studio Arts program, Shane literally walks us through his film project at The Coe Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His series of films tells the story of forging human connection and resilience through generations. Join us as we get to know Shane in the final episode of his series.
