If you are looking out for a train with a relaxed schedule from Pune with a lesser chance of reaching home late, then DECCAN EXPRESS is ideal for you. Halting at Shivajinagar, Khadki, Talegaon, Lonavala, Karjat, Kalyan, Thane & Dadar. The best way to enjoy this journey is to book a ticket for AC Chair Car which delivers the required comfort. This was the reason, I opted for Deccan Express, except I didn't get a Chair Car Ticket & had to deal with Second Seating on a train that departs late afternoon (not that I hate second seating).
This video contains some footage taken from my coach D4 while descending the Bhor Ghats. Was not able to cover the entire journey since my DJI OSMO Pocket was connected to a Power Bank. Stay tuned as I am working on a Journey Compilation of Vande Bharat Express as well.
