DC has always had a penchant for some of the darker things in life. However, it can be argued that they give DC Universe's shows, movies, and comics a depth that many people think can't be given to superhero stories. One such story takes place in Gotham.
Jason Todd stumbled into a life that he never knew he could have. He left his tragic beginnings and managed to succeed Dick Grayson as Robin. Being Batman's sidekick is never an easy task and there is always some new threat forming or old threat reviving in Gotham. He was an extremely capable hero and in more than just one way, the perfect Robin to Bruce Wayne's Batman. Their pairing gave rise to a brilliant crime-fighting duo that Gotham desperately needed.
