To marinate the chicken
• 250 gm chicken breast (cut into long strips)
• 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp black pepper powder
• 1 tbsp Soy sauce
• 1 tsp Vinegar
• 1 Egg, beaten
To stir fry chicken
• 10 cashews
• 3-4 dried red chilies (deseed them to reduce spiciness)
• 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
• 1/4 cup sliced spring onion white
• 1/2 green bell pepper, julienned
• 1/2 red bell pepper, julienned
• 1/2 yellow bell pepper, julienned
• 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
• 1/4 cup tomato sauce +1 tbsp chili sauce
• 3 tbsp water
• 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp sugar
• salt to taste
• spring onion greens
• 1 tsp vinegar
Step by step instructions to make Dragon chicken recipe:
• Heat 2 tsp oil over medium-high heat.
• Add cashews and dried red chilies. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.
• Add garlic and stir fry for 30 seconds.
• Next, add spring onion white, green, red, and yellow bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
• Add soy sauce, tomato sauce, chili sauce, water, pepper powder, sugar, and salt. Combine.
• Add the fried chicken. Stir to combine the chicken with sauces.
• Remove from heat.
• Add spring onion greens and vinegar. Toss to combine.
• Dragon chicken is ready to serve.
