The School of Architecture, Art and Design, is incorporating the latest technologies (AR: Augmented Reality, VR: Virtual Reality, and MR: Mixed Reality) in order to educate young students at the department of architecture on how to design and be prepared professionally for future innovations and industries.
The VR-Mat will allow for unlimited and unrestrained movements in the virtual world where students will get the opportunity to examine their designs in real scale and actively make changes to it.
The benefits of these technologies is that it will allow professors and students to share the design, review, and make changes to it in real time and scale. This will provide the architecture students the skill to impact decisions when presenting their projects to employers and future clients alike.
