Wildlife officials in Colorado had to work together to relocate a massive 400-lb bear that was found underneath a house in Durango, CO, on Oct 12.
A Colorado Parks & Wildlife official wrote on Instagram that the agency had been notified of the bear’s presence ahead of time, but added ‘[What] we didn’t expect to find was one of the largest male bears we have ever seen in town.’
'It took a tranquilizer dart and five members of @coparkswildlife staff to get this bear out from under the deck and into a trailer so it could be prepared for relocation,' the official added.
