What is a Decimal Place Value?
Place value is the value of each digit in numbers, where digits are the numbers from 0-9.
So for example we have 456 oranges. We used different number places for counting by ones, tens, and hundreds. So in the number 456, digit 6 is in the ones place, digit 5 is in the tens place and digit 4 is in the hundreds place.
