This Minmup socket fan light with remote control is everything I had hoped it would be. The attic fan in my bathroom was supposed to be a high-performance fan when I bought it and unfortunately it was not what it was said to be and even with it on, and the window open the condensation from our shower would create sweat on the walls and the ceiling would peel and have mold growing so I was constantly having to clean it and repaint. This socket fan has both a summer (downward) and winter (upward) option and the Winter option on this helped pull the steam up into the attic fan and help reduce the buildup of the condensation in this room. I looked at other socket fans that had the winter option however you had to install their separate base to make that work and this one worked within the unit and was controlled by the remote, so this made this the perfect solution to pull the steam up and out through the attic vent at a higher rate than the vent alone.
This was an amazing find - another "ah ha" moment in the shenanigans of my old house.
