In this tropics watch update a tropical depression is likely to form in the Atlantic Next week.
Interests in the northeast Caribbean and Bermuda should monitor the progress of this storm, but it appears as if the system will stay away from land as it rounds the Bermuda-Azores high in the Central Atlantic.
The NHC is also highlighting two areas of disturbed weather in the Atlantic. Neither are expected to develop, however heavy rain is anticipated along the southeast coast of the U.S. and across parts of Central America, respectively.
The next named storm of the 2023 hurricane season is Emily. Hurricane season runs through November.
