When you're short on time, you can still have an effective workout! This fast-paced at-home dumbbell circuit is designed to work out every part of your body in just 15 minutes. It will help you build strength, burn calories, and boost your confidence. Push yourself with each exercise and see your progress soar. This 15-minute session includes circuit and strength training to help you burn calories and build muscle.
If you have a pair of lightweight dumbbells and a heavy one, that will be great to utilize throughout this class. Even better is a pair of adjustable dumbbells, but the technique is always crucial, no matter your weight! Don't hesitate to use a lighter weight to improve your technique. Of course, we want to challenge ourselves, but injury from poor technique is never what we want. We want you to return for more workouts and build consistency in your at-home fitness routine. This is the at-home class when you're limited on time or want a quick workout.
Once the 12-minute circuit starts, try your best during the 40 seconds of work. The "work" section is when we give it our all and try not to rest too much. You can take small breaths, but try to keep your body moving or modify the exercise. With HIIT-style training, we want to push our bodies within their limits. If an activity is too intense, don't feel bad about modifying or altering it to something you feel comfortable with. These steps should motivate people to keep on track and work towards more advanced exercises.
