Patty Lee is an actress, presenter, and singer. She’s fluent in English after growing up in New Zealand and studying in Sweden while attending university. Lee is a fully bilingual performer who speaks both Chinese and English in her work as a TV presenter and dramatic actor. She played the character Yang Hsiao-chi in My Missing Valentine (2020), for which she was nominated for Best Leading Actress at the 57th Golden Horse Awards and Best Actress at the Taipei Film Awards in 2021. Recent dramatic credits, such as Taiwan Crime Stories - Dark Currents and Shards of Her, were highly acclaimed and led to widespread coverage and discussion in the media. Her upcoming television dramas, You Are My Sister and Million-follower Detective, are highly anticipated.
Lee delivered her performance in English for the VR film Mechanical Souls (2018), a co-production from Taiwan and France. She hopes to take part in more international co-productions in the future. In addition to acting, Lee has gained recognition as a TV presenter and singer. She not only won two Golden Bell Awards as a presenter but serves as the lead singer of the music band, So-So Heroes. All of their songs are written by Lee.
