Musee Carnavalet | Carnavalet Museum | Things To Do In Paris | Museums in Paris
The Musée Carnavalet in Paris is a museum dedicated to the history of the city. The museum occupies two neighboring mansions: the Hôtel Carnavalet and the former Hôtel Le Peletier de Saint Fargeau.
The museum was opened to the public in 1880 and by the latter part of the 20th century, the museum was full to capacity. The Hôtel Le Peletier de Saint Fargeau was annexed to the Carnavalet and opened to the public in 1989.
Musée Carnavalet is a perfect attraction for anyone looking for fun things to do in Paris and is perfect for all the family. It is only one of the fantastic museums in Paris and we would highly recommend it to add to your to-do list when you next travel to Paris.
