The best way to be a better Dungeon Master, Game Master, Judge, or whatever it's called in your TTRPG of choice, is to not be a DM (or GM). Sometimes you can get stuck in the role of the "Forever DM" and the blinders can get stuck on hard as you do the same stuff over and over again and it can be a little wonky trying to figure out how to improve. Obviously there's a ton of advice videos and articles from Dungeon Dudes, DM Lair, Ginny D, Dungeon Craft, Bob World Builder, there's a ton so I guess you get it, but I found an interesting Dnd experiment for improving your insight. Don't be a Dungeon Master (or Game Master), be a player. I got a lot of personal insight from playing in a Lost Mines of Phandelver / Curse of Strahd module mash-up and it was a ton of fun and I *gasp* actually learned something so maybe you will too.
