Two generations of flagship rigid-chassis John Deere tractors first work together to create the seedbed - power harrowing with a 228hp JD 4955 (4960 to our US friends) and 6m Lely Roterra and a 260hp JD 8400 with a huge 8m Lely power harrow.
The peas are then drilled and rolled-in straight behind. You don't often see a 3640 and 3650 together - two generations of iconic classic John Deere tractors working with some equally impressive implements. A late (1993) John Deere 3650 drills the peas with a mammoth 6m Massey Ferguson 30 trailed disc drill followed by a slightly older John Deere 3640 on a 7.4m set of Cousins Contour rolls.
