ive never built a real chimney caddy corner at an angle. Here's a chimney I built around Halloween 2020.
made it from scratch . huge footer , rebar , concrete, cinder block , Refractory fire brick, damper , and terracotta flu line.
we used a natural stone that the home owner picked. He has been wanting a real woodburning fireplace for over 20 years and was very grateful that I brought his dream project to life.
