With all eyes on the federal reserve, investors are focusing on the wrong thing. It doesn't matter if they cut 25, 50, or even 75 basis points at the FOMC meeting tomorrow.
The reality is, that with massively expanding deficits and debt, the Fed will ultimately be forced to create vasts sums of currency, far more than investors currently are pricing in. Despite the fact that gold is at a record all time high, and silver is up more than 30% year to date, both metals remain incredibly undervalued relative to how much currency devaluation is looming ahead of us.
