Due to the current events happening in our world, I completely forgot this anniversary.
Clip was from "America's Wackiest Criminals", only reason I posted this clip is because not only there's actual footage, but actual radio communications and audio, while the unedited chase footage is completely silent.
You can watch the full unedited chase here:

For those that don't know, on May 17, 1995, Shawn Nelson, a plumber and US Army veteran, stole an M60A3 Patton Tank from a US National Guard armory in San Diego and went on a 20+ minute rampage, destroying cars, traffic lights and fire hydrants. Shawn eventually crashed the tank into a center freeway divider, where police pried the tank's hatch open with crowbars, and ended up shooting Shawn to death.
The footage eventually made its way onto shows like "World's Scariest Police Chases" and "World's Most Amazing Videos".
This chase (in my opinion) is still one of the craziest pursuits in recorded history.
