The reservation of accommodation through official website runs out very fast. So keep yourself updated about stating date of reservation, keep the 15-50 kb softcopy of photo of team leader ready on your PC and log in at exact time of starting of reservation process... and you have some chance of getting the booking!!!!
Summer is supposed to be the season for better sighting of tigers due to deciduous forest and possibility of spotting of animals near water bodies. But mercury can hit 40 deg C.
Winter is more comfortable but foggy weather in mid December to mid January can pose visibility issues. Jhirna zone in the park that remains open for whole year long. Birjani zone is open from mid of October to mid of June and Dhikala zone allows visitors to visit inside from November 15 to mid of June. The gates of the park get closed and no drive out is allowed after sunset.
