It's always a pleasure to see how themes that we've seen countless times and are basically the go-to, continue to evolve and get better and better throughout the years, the Hell theme in particular and this level is the perfect example of that. The more vibrant reds and oranges, the slightly cartoony art style that doesn't try to take the atmosphere or itself to seriously makes these types of levels feel like a breath of fresh air from the norm. The backgrounds are definitely the star of the show, with the art grabbing your attention more than once when you play it, whether it's the giant cross, the beating heart or the 3 headed demon watching over you, there is a ton of detail and attention put into these aspects and it shows, with the final animated sequence being the perfect way to end it off.
