A petition started by Japanese gamers to cancel the upcoming Assassin's Creed Shadows game by Ubisoft has been gaining momentum, crossing 50,000 signatures, citing how insulting the game is to Japanese people and their culture. However, Ubisoft seems to practically be thumbing their noses at their critics by releasing a video promoting how one of the most requested settings for an Assassin’s Creed game has been feudal Japan.
