Ben Gordon is a former basketball player who played for the University of Connecticut (UConn) from 2002 to 2004. He was a key player in helping UConn win the NCAA championship in 2004, alongside fellow future NBA star, Emeka Okafor.
During his time at UConn, Gordon was known for his scoring ability and his clutch performances in important games. He was a two-time All-American and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2004 Final Four.
After his successful college career, Gordon was selected third overall in the 2004 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls. He went on to have a successful NBA career, playing for several teams including the Bulls, the Detroit Pistons, and the Charlotte Bobcats.
