Professor of Bioinformatics Andrew Doxey with the University of Waterloo's Department of Biology has discovered a new form of Botox in the stomach of cows. Known as Botulinum Neurotoxin, the genome was run through computer programs in Doxey’s lab, which found the gene in the bacterial strain.
