Now that we’re reunited with Wheatley and armed with the portal gun, we can enact his master scheme to get us as far away from Aperture Laboratories as possible as quickly as possible. Though he’s been pretty quiet when it comes to the fine detail of his plan, I’m sure he’s thought long and hard about it to make sure that there’s no possible way that it can go wrong in any fashion.

Okay, when I said that he’s been pretty quiet, I should’ve actually said that he’s not mentioned a single thing about it beyond ‘get the portal thingy’ and ‘we’re getting out of here’. I should concede that I’m starting to have my reservations as to how much time he’s spent coming up with the many complicated steps that are part and parcel of any escape attempt. This means that there are likely many, MANY ways that this could backfire on us and get us into even more trouble than we’re already in, up to and including the return of-

...Then again, maybe I’m not giving Wheatley enough credit here. He is after all an AI and our past experiences with them have shown that they are phenomenally intelligent… as well as very, very unstable.
