3 minutes into the flight I lost all power to the EDF. Thankfully the lipos were good to the receiver giving me the opportunity to carry out a dead stick landing. I decided not to deploy the retracts which would cause drag. The speed looked good down wind but the speed soon bled of on the shallow base leg turn. Just as the viper looked like it would make it through into wind she leveled out and continued on the base leg track narrowly missing a hedge.
Early indications find a crackling sound within the positive spark arresting AS150 connector. The ESC can't be armed and only a crackling sound can be heard in the positive AS150 connector.
