These brazen burglars were caught on film breaking into a family home in broad daylight before running across the back garden (pictured right) and escaping with the loot. The pair struck at a house in Chorlton, Manchester, but CCTV captured their every move. One man was seen ringing his accomplice after he checked the house was empty (pictured left). About £1,200 in cash and Asian gold worth £4,000 was taken. The CCTV footage has now been passed to police who are investigating.
