I've watched the opening of 'Trial of a Timelord,' A.K.A Doctor Who (Classic) Season 23, and thought it wasn't too dramatic. I watched an alternate version fan-made by Tyler Jarret (Link below) and thought "Gee, the Terror theme sounds rather nice. What if the Terror Theme had been used for Colin Baker's entire run?"
I tested it out by cropping the Terror theme, adding a sting (from the 2008 Glynn Surround/Stereo Remix) and speeding it up so that it kinda matched the other Who themes. The speeding up with 'High Quality' Tempo Change in Audacity did something rather weird though... Parts of the original drum-like bassline of the theme were changed to sound rather 'metallic'. Otherwise, I'd say it went nicely enough.
The episode title and writer name was made in Microsoft Word, and then screen-clipped as a PNG file to be added in with a chroma key (green screen effect) over the title sequence. I may need to clean up the added glow on the text, which does mess up the key. The font used was Arial Rounded Bold MT, coloured black with white outlining and a purple glow.
Q: Why is there nearly 10 seconds of black at the end when you could've just ended the video?
A: The fade out didn't work so well.
