As audiences become more and more platform agnostic, so must the treatment of the story. Currently, extending television stories across multiple platforms is a mature model -- essential in 2013 -- and producers, broadcasters and distributors agree. However, feature film is brand new territory, and including story extensions will slowly but surely become customary. But where to start? What are the elements that producers should be considering?
