INGREDIENTS
#1 Iced Chai Latte
for the chai mix:
2 cinnamon sticks (or ¾ tsp ground)
1 tsp cloves, whole (or ½ tsp ground
½ tsp allspice, whole (or ¼ tsp ground)
½ tsp anise,whole (or ½ tsp ground)
a pinch of black pepper
a pinch of nutmeg
2 cups water (500ml)
1 black tea bag
2 tsp agave
½ tsp vanilla, optional
ice
½ cup non dairy milk (125ml)
(I used ¼ cup non dairy milk + 1 tbsp vegan cream per serving)
*the recipe for the chai mix can easily be doubled to make 1 litre. Use 2 tea bags. You don't have to use double the amount of spices you can also just let spices sit in the tea for longer, up to a few hours or even overnight. :) just don't let the tea bags sit for that long otherwise it'll get super bitter.
#2 Iced Chocolate
3 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tbsp agave
½ tsp vanilla
a generous pinch of salt
¼ cup hot water (60ml)
2 cups non dairy milk (500ml)
ice
*serves 2
*This can easily be cut in half to make 1 portion
*add more cocoa if preferred :)
#3 Strawberry Shake
¼ cup + 1 tbsp cashews, soaked in water overnight + drained (40g)
3-4 dates, soft (if they are not naturally soft, let them soak overnight too)
~ 1 cup frozen strawberries (150-175g)
3 tbsp non dairy cream - can be substituted for more plant milk
⅔ cup non dairy milk (160ml)
½ tsp vanilla or 3-5 vanilla aroma droplets
a pinch of salt
if needed: extra sweetener
*yields 1 big shake
#4 Beet Latte
1 cup non dairy milk (250ml)
¼ cup beet juice (60ml) (add less for less beet taste, so maybe start with 2 tbsp)
½ tsp vanilla
½ tsp lemon zest
1 tsp agave
~ ⅓ cup frothable milk (80ml)
#5 Toasted Almond Rice Milk
1 cup rice, uncooked (180g)
2 cinnamon sticks or ½ tsp ground cinnamon
a handful of almonds, whole
1 tsp vanilla
2 ½ tbsp agave
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup non dairy milk (250ml)
1 cup water (250ml)
----
Before blending:
1 extra cup water or non dairy milk (250ml)
extra cinnamon or agave to taste
more liquid if needed
#6 Horchata Rice Pudding
All the ingredients from #5, blended well in a high speed blender until smooth, the next morning
1 cup small cut oats (90g)
