Construction of Grand Hotel Riviera or Riviera Palasthotel began in the 1908th year, and opened in 1909. in Pula. It was built to a design by the Viennese architect Carl Seidl. After construction has long been the largest and most luxurious hotel of Pula. This massive neo-Baroque building with a rich Art Nouveau decorations and a large balcony to the front façade was built in 1909. in an extremely convenient location outside the historic center.
