The new Ferrari 296 GTB is stupidly quick. It finally feels like something that can truly keep up on the road or track with a McLaren 720S. And it feels lighter on its feet than its 3,700 lb curb weight would suggest. It has great brakes, razor sharp steering, and as long as you don't get the Fiorano Track Pack, an excellent ride. But it's user interfaces for basic functions like the radio, CarPlay, and vehicle settings menus are buggy, poorly designed, and sometimes infuriating. It's a great supercar, for sure, but is it worth the everyday headaches?
Ferrari provided the vehicle, insurance, and a tank of fuel for this review.
