Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was greeted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Sunday, 14 May.
President Zelensky had travelled from Germany earlier on Sunday where he met the German Chancellor and the country's President.
Zelensky was awarded Germany's prestigious Charlemagne Prize at a ceremony, with speeches German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
The French government dispatched a plane to pick up Mr Zelensky in Germany.
Mr Macron’s office said the two leaders will hold talks over dinner and discuss Ukraine‘s military and humanitarian need.
