So on the second part of the RTX 3090 K|NGP|N we take a look at the card when it is actually running. The main features are mainly the huge cooling solution on the GPU, and the very fancy OLED display that allows you to monitor various parts of the card, show some cool GIF animations or just static images that you wish to show on the display device, therefore making the RTX 3090 K|NGP|N a next generation PC modding masterpiece.
As we are talking about latest generation graphics cards from NVidia, don't expect much overclocking headroom with the standard card BIOS and layout. These cards really throttle easily and quickly once you try to adjust the main voltages. It will do the same thing as if the card was overheating, and the throttled performance can even go behind the stock card's performance. To overcome those limitations, you have to make changes to the graphics card's BIOS, or make hardware level modifications to the shunt resistors that measure the current ratings per input.
Overall the card seemed alright, I was able to exceed 15 000 points in 3DMark Port Royal with stock voltages and stock cooling with just fan at automatic speed. I will do more in-depth tests once I get the power limitations sorted.
