If you have cervical disc disease or a herniated cervical disc, definitely speak to your doctor about the possibility of artificial disc replacement surgery. You don't have to live with pain. This surgery changed my life.

Also - while my recovery from cervical disc replacement surgery was relatively pain free, my Dr. advises me that I am an outlier. Most patients should expect a moderate degree of post surgical pain at both the incision site and surrounding area and throughout the back. My recovery is apparently not typical and you should not expect to be pain free following your surgery.
