► It was exactly three weeks ago that the UK hit record-breaking 40 degrees Celsius heat. This week's heatwave isn't going to be quite as hot, with temperatures around the mid 30s for most of England, but the latest heatwave is expected to last for longer.
Furthermore, the new hot spell raises the threat of fires, and reduced water supplies. So if you're not already under a hosepipe ban where you are, the likelihood is you soon could be.
