The HIV and AIDS (Prevention and Control) Act 2017 intends to end any discrimination and injustice faced by People infected or affected by HIV. The Act has provisions that protect against termination and dismissal from job based on HIV Status. In case of discrimination, protected persons can lodge complain with Complains officer at Establishment or the Ombudsman.
