Whenever I wander around Arab Street, it feels a bit overwhelming with the amount of food choices available and with all the staff standing outside their restaurants, inviting you in. But now I officially know which restaurant to visit if I’m in the area! @sultan.turkishrestaurantsg at 30 Bussorah St! 🤗
The food is super authentic as the head Chef, Chef Jamaal is known as one of the most famous Turkish chefs in Singapore having spent 17 years in Singapore as head chef at some famous restaurants! And of course he’s Turkish himself, and joining him in the kitchen, you have his younger brother and cousin too! They own 4 establishments on the same street as well, with another shop selling Turkish desserts just opposite! 🤩

Everything I tried was authentic and delicious, but highlights were definitely the Kunefe dessert (freshly baked Phyllo pastry) which I for sure would go back for (it was super crispy and buttery and the perfect mix of sweet and savoury too), and their Charcoal grilled seafood and meat platters! That Charcoaly charred taste is definitely special indeed! And if you pop by, you have to try their fresh Turkish bread with dips too! The eggplant dips are a killer! I was legit eating the dips by themselves afterwards! 💯✅
