This is an old mix I decided to finish up and upload.
As I said in my Love of My Life upload, I don't really plan to ever remaster all of Houston as DJGreg's remaster is great.
This mix is inspired by the great '39 Earl's Court official mix seen on the 2011 release of A Night At The Opera. Unfortunately, Roger's mic didn't pick up the tambourine well at all, so I couldn't do anything to bring it out. If I could have, I'd have panned it to the left like in EC's 2011 '39 mix.
If I had access to Houston's (non-existant) multitracks, I'd definitely want to bring out the tambourine and audience. Alas, we fans make do with what we have.
The video is from my own copy of Houston supplied to me by DPDU. I did pretty much nothing in terms of polishing it up. As usual, it has been uploaded in 4K so that you can watch it with minimal compression on YouTube's part. Even if you don't have a 4K monitor, I strongly suggest that you watch it at that resolution as it still looks better.
Unrelated but if anyone is able to speed correct two whole shows for me let me know.
I have two projects done which only need speed correcting, and as I've kind of lost my passion for making music, my sense of pitch isn't as good as it was some months ago.
The tapes in question waver a bit, so one correction at the very start isn't going to do the job. I need a precise SPC done.
