The World Bank will tomorrow release a report on the Economic Impact of COVID-19 in Africa.
This follows calls by African leaders to rich countries to write off or restructure their substantial debts as their economies are battered by the coronavirus pandemic. The spread of the virus has reached 52 African countries with over 10 000 cases confirmed and close to 500 deaths.
