Hello and welcome to Nate’s Mom Plans! My name is Val aka Valerie. I saw a video that Ms. Sassy’s Corner had done doing this exact same thing. I have a lot of things I need to be tracking from here on out and need to make sure and back track as well, but for this specific planner I will begin in July and just use some note paper and create my own calendar to do the the back tracking. I was in an auto accident almost 3 years ago. I haven’t ever recovered from that car accident and I applied for disability, trying to do it all on my own and getting nowhere with disability. It was like they weren’t even looking at my paperwork or anything, so I hired an attorney out of a larger city in my state who knows way more than I do about this process and has had several cases like mine and all of a sudden disability started taking me seriously and sending me paperwork to fill out, asking more questions and I feel like we are finally getting somewhere. Because I waited so long to hire an attorney we are at the point where we will be going to court to have a hearing. I need all the documentation I possibly can have to help my case. I tend to freeze and my mind goes blank when I’m in any type of stressful situation and of course this is a stressful situation.

Nate’s Mom Plans came from my First born son, Nate who at the young age of 22 passed away while serving our country. I wanted to carry on my sons name and honor him the best way I know how, name my channel after him. His nickname the US Navy gave him is C17. He changed his last name to combine both my moms side of the family and my dads side of the family so C17 is the first letter of my moms side of the family’s last name followed by 17 letters. His biological father hasn’t been a very big part of his life and he didn’t want to carry on his name at all. It has nothing to with the what I believe is an aircraft also named C17. His Chief in Command came up with his nickname and it stuck! (Just a little side note). He served on the USS Abraham Lincoln Ship while he was serving.
