Besalú is credited to be one of the most beautiful Medieval towns in Spain, and a magnificent example of a medieval town. One of the most striking features of the town is the 12th-century bridge which guards the entrance to the town. Cobbled streets and facades and a wonderful bridge are the trademarks of Besalu. In this video I'll be walking the medieval streets of Besalú.
Usually there are many more people, and a more lively atmosphere, with tourists and families who come from different countries to visit this beautiful town. With the current situation everything is a little more stopped but it also serves to imagine what it would be like to live in a medieval town hundreds of years ago and enjoy a calmer walk.
