There are some pieces of advice that stick with you over the course of your career. The majority of my content on this channel focuses on how to show up better in your interview and land the job you want. I also focus on how using the Amazon Leadership Principles can be very effective in preparing you for your interview loop regardless of the company. However, in this case I use the Leadership Principles to highlight some advice I was given early in my tenure at Amazon and really helped me avoid making a common and repeated mistake.
