This video builds on Part 1 (my vocal recording session setup) and now I look at how to comp the vocal using this method. I talk about what I'm looking for in a vocal, then how I comp efficiently and quickly using this session layout.
I show this in Pro Tools, but the techniques works for any DAW.
This is ONE possible way to keep an organized session and comp, and allows for a really flexible way to work.
This is Part 2, in Part 1 I dived into the original session setup for easy vocal recording.
In part 3 I'll give an overview of my editing!
