Custom Kato N scale SDP40F with an ESU LokSound V5 58741 'Kato USA' board installed along with customer requested alternating ditchlights installed.

Frame machined to accept 11x15 ESU sugarcube and housing. 58741 reprogrammed to sound file S0765 and set in reverse, lighting function mapped to control alternating ditchlights of Aux3 and Aux4. 0402 wired sunny SMLED's installed to customer modifed ditchlight openings. A tad bit of silver paint was applied to control lighting bleed through. Tested.

The second part of the video is a Kato N scale P42 with a ESU LokSound V5 micro that has been installed. Frame machined to accept 11x15 sugar cube speaker. Stock light board was cut up and modified to control front and rear lights. Ditch light tubes were split up and individual 0504 sunny white SMLED's were installed and heat shrunk, then the leads run to a resistor bank made of scrap PCB and surface mount resistors. V5 sound file S0582 loaded and unit tested.
