Recipe (makes 8):
- 5 cups flour
- 1.5 cups lukewarm water
- 1tbsp dry yeast
- 2tbsp sugar (½tsp of that for the yeast)
- 1 cup milk
- ⅓ cup oil (any that isn’t olive)
- pinch of salt
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Work the dough until smooth, and make sure the oil is at 200°C when frying.
(Rest time for the dough is 1-2 hours)
