Today I am sharing Matar Masala Baati in three ways.Matar Masala Baati is a very popular Rajasthani dish. Masala baati is a traditional round dumpling from Rajasthan which is made by stuffing dough with a spicy mixture of potatoes, crumbled Cheese and peas, which is then deep fried or baked.
Masala bati is generally eaten hot with desi ghee, chutney, daal or kadi.
INGREDIENTS
For Dough
wheat flour - 2 cup
Gram flour - 1 cup(optional)
Carom (Ajawayan) - 1 tsp
Ghee - 3 Tbsp + 1/2 cup
Salt - as per taste
Warm water
For Stuffing
Green Peas - 2 cup Crumbled Cheese - 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp, Boiled Potato - 1
Green Chillies - 4-5 (chopped)
Cashews - 1/4 cup
Samolina - 2 tsp
Crushed Coriander seeds - 3 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Green coriander leaves - 1/2 cup chopped, Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp, Red chilli powder - 3 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp, Salt - As per taste
Cooking oil - 2Tbsp
