Some trivia: Victoria came up with the idea for this song after seeing risque pictures of herself in a magazine, captured from SNL sketches and the film "Casual Sex?". Her immediate reaction was to seek legal action against the magazine, though simultaneously she felt an odd sense of pride. Given her religious background, she was confused by this and discussed it with her therapist about it who explained that conflicting feelings of such sort were common in people espousing strong religious convictions. She realized this phenomenon was partly driven by pop culture teaching young people to be promiscuous and flaunt their sexuality. She wrote the song as a tongue-in-cheek reference to that realization.

Victoria told the story on Late Night with David Letterman and previewed the song on the show. She then performed the full version at the 5th Annual American Comedy Awards in 1991.
