১৯৭৪ সালের ২৬ শে জুলাই জন্ম অভিনেত্রী সুমন রঙ্গনাথনের। কর্নাটকে জন্ম এই অভিনেত্রীর। বড়ো হয়েছেন ব্যাঙ্গালরে। ছোট থেকেই তাঁর সৌন্দর্য মন কেরেছে সকলের। তাঁর উচ্চতা, চোখের দৃষ্টি, আর কোকরা চুল সুমন রঙ্গনাথনের সৌন্দর্যকে আরো মুখরিত করেছিল। যে কারণে কলেজ শেষ হতে না হতেই মডেলিং জগতে প্রবেশ করেন তিনি। মডেলিং জগতে প্রবেশ করেই সাফল্য পান সুমন রঙ্গনাথন। আর এই সাফল্য তাঁকে সিনেমা জগতে নিয়ে আসতে বেশি দেরি করেনি। সাউথ ইন্ডাস্ট্রি থেকে শুরু হলেও বলিউড সিনেমাতে তাঁর অভিনয় আজও প্রশংসিত।
