Amazon’s former flagship ereader, the Kindle Oasis, seems to have turned its final page, as Amazon has just removed the model from the Kindle lineup overview on its website.

The Kindle Oasis is still one of my favorite ereaders because it manages to combine a great display with incredibly good ergonomics and an excellent build quality.

But the re-launch of the Kindle Paperwhite in 2021 with its larger screen and the color temperature adjustable frontlight, moved the cheaper sibling so close to the Oasis, that it was only a matter of time for Amazon to either update the Oasis or discontinue it.
