Meghan reportedly wrote a letter to her father after her wedding telling him her heart was "broken into a million pieces" because he gave press interviews and attacked Prince Harry.
In the handwritten note, Meghan is said to have accused Thomas Markle of "unwarranted pain" and "making the choice to not tell the truth".
Mr Markle did not attend his daughter's wedding in Windsor in May 2018 after he suffered a heart attack.
